S.O.L.A Class Weapons are the exclusive arms of the Solar Guard branch of the Royal Protectorate.
The S-1 is very similar to the L-1 used by the Luna Guard however the S-class ammunition lacks the long range accuracy of the L-class. It however makes up for it by having an possibly excessive penetration. All S.O.L.A weapons are built from the RA-51 platform created by the Equestrian arms company known as "Boy"
The S-2 has attempted to control the lack of accuracy from their ammunition however still struggles with the extreme distance that the L-2 is capable of.
The final popular S.O.L.A is the S-3 which contains an inbuilt 30mm grenade launcher which shows the Solar Guards ideology of victory through overwhelming firepower where as the Luna Guards use a tactic of surgical strikes to bring an enemy to their knees before unleashing a coup de grâce or allowing the sledge hammer of the Solar Guard to smash in.
Lately all S-class weapons have been drawn out of use and replaced with the S-4 combining the best traits of each weapon and removing the unwieldy and rarely used inbuilt 30mm grenade launcher.

Much beter than the last, but one problem: there waaay too long. the S-1 is about as long as many of the LMG platforms I make. Also, all that extra rail space is a bit impractical. Just because there the "Sledgehammer" doesn't mean that the guns have to be big. Remember, ounces lead to pound, pounds lead to pain. think of the user when designing your guns.
